L.A. LIVE

This is a convenient place for a nice dinner and entertainment after an event at Staples Center, or after a day at the Convention Center. Staples Center
A venue for large events, such as concerts, sporting events, shows and plays. The grounds are visually attractive, especially on nights when the building is illuminated. However, the inside of the building is not open for tours or visiting, although some guided tours stop at Staples Center so tourists can take pictures of the statues in front, and also visit L.A. LIVE across the street (on the other side of Chick Hearn Court).

L.A. Convention Center
A large exhibition center that is the location for many conventions, trade shows and exhibits. The building is open for events, but there are no tours and really nothing to see inside except the exhibitions.

7th Street Metro Train Station
A major hub that services the Red, Blue, Purple and Expo Metro rail lines, connecting downtown L.A. to Culver City, Long Beach, Koreatown, Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios. This station is about a 5-minute walk from L.A. LIVE and Staples Center, or about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Center.
