Antelope Valley Mall - located in Palmdale at 10th Street West near the 14 freeway. Features over 140 stores and restaurants, plus a movie theatre. The is a nice indoor mall. A good way to beat the heat out in the Antelope Valley. [Northern LA County]

(The) Oaks Mall - The Oaks is a two-level enclosed, super-regional mall located in Thousand Oaks. This would be a *great* place to stop on the way to the factory outlets in Camarillo. Highly visible from the Ventura Freeway (US 101) midway between downtown Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. [Northwest of LA County]

(The) Promenade at Westlake - There aren't many stores here, but there are a few restaurants. It's in the same area as The Oaks Mall.

(Westfield) Valencia Town Center - Shopping, Dining in Santa Clarita [Northern LA County]

Lancaster MarketPlace - A small retail outlet mall in the Antelope valley, about an hour drive north of LA. Around 20 stores and restaurants, including a Reeboks factory outlet. [Northern LA County]

Factory Outlets - Stores where retail chains often offer discounts on items from previous seasons. Most of them are in communities outside of the Los Angeles area.
