Welcome to Hansen Dam Horse Park, a 38-acre equestrian facility nestled on the edge of the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Lake View Terrace, CA.
HDHP is an ideal venue for all your horse activities, from boarding to shows, and everything in between. HDHP is also an excellent location for parties and meetings.
With boarding space for up to 200 horses, HDHP offers both 12’ x 12’ and 12’ x 16’ stalls, along with turnouts, numerous riding arenas, and access to miles of trails. Many different disciplines are represented by top trainers, like reining and western, dressage, hunter/jumper, and a terrific riding school. Our arenas feature both GGT geotextile footing, along with top quality sand footing. Thanks to our excellent footing, you can count on riding right after the rain.
The facility is spacious, shaded, and peaceful, and lives up to its name of being a park for horses and the people who enjoy them.

HDHP is the preferred location for a variety of horse shows and related events.
HDHP has shows for all levels and types of horses and riders. The Gold Coast Horse Shows series features USEF hunter/jumper shows, and western shows featuring classic western classes, Ranch Riding, and Reining. ETI Corral 101 hosts two day shows with classes for all breeds, english, and western classes. The Interscholastic League recognizes middle and high school riders competing on behalf of their schools. Multiple colleges host Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Show for college equestrian athletes, and a variety of breed organizations showcase their specific horse types at specialty shows at HDHP.
Parking is plentiful, we have 350 show stalls, two dozen RV hook-ups, and a selection of nearby hotels and restaurants. Restrooms are conveniently located and regularly maintained.
